A striking lapwing, also known as a green plover or 'peewit' (because of the sound he makes). Hand-crocheted in a combination of alpaca, cotton, silk and wool yarns, he is filled with carded fleece and has semi-precious black agate beads for eyes.

He is around half life-sized, measuring 20cm from beak to tail and standing 19cm tall (7.5" x 7"), and has a uniquely numbered metal ring on his leg.
